This conflict should end now: Modi in phone call with Netanyahu

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is accused of war crimes, on the phone.

Modi made a statement at around 2 am on Monday (March 1) Bangladesh time.

He said, ‘I spoke to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the phone. We discussed the current regional situation (in the Middle East). I conveyed India’s concerns about the recent developments and highlighted the safety of the common man as the top priority. India once again makes it clear that this conflict must end now.’

Iran has launched a new missile attack targeting the occupying Israel. The country has launched missiles at least three times in the last hour. As a result, warning sirens are sounding in most parts of Israel.

The Times of Israel reported at around 1:45 am on Monday Bangladesh time that Iran has launched new missiles. This has caused sirens to sound in the southern region.

The Israeli Defense Forces said that they are trying to intercept these missiles.

Sources said that one missile directly hit Tel Aviv. However, it is not certain whether the remaining missiles were shot down in the sky or not.

It is also not clear how many missiles Iran is launching at once.

In a telephone interview with several US media outlets on Sunday (March 1), he said that 48 Iranian leaders were killed in a single Israeli-US strike.

Trump told Fox News, "48 (Iranian) leaders have been killed in one strike and the operation in Iran is moving forward rapidly. No one can believe our success."

Trump said that the country's new leadership wanted to talk after the death of Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei, and he agreed to it.

In another interview with CNBC, President Trump said, "The United States operation is going very well, even ahead of our schedule. We are not just doing this for ourselves, we are doing this for the whole world."

Speaking to MS Now, President Trump said that he saw Iranian diaspora in the United States cheering after the killing of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

"I think it's wonderful," he said, referring to the joyous situation in Los Angeles in particular.
