US claims to have sunk more than 30 Iranian ships to day 06/03/2026

The United States has claimed to have sunk more than 30 Iranian ships. Admiral Brad Cooper, head of the country's Central Command, said that US forces have attacked nearly 200 targets across Iran in the last 72 hours. He made the claim while speaking to reporters on Thursday local time.

Admiral Cooper said that US forces have sunk more than 30 Iranian ships so far. He added that an Iranian drone ship was also hit in the recent attacks.

According to him, the ship is similar in size to a World War II aircraft carrier. He also said that the ship is currently on fire after the attack.

The US military claims that these attacks were planned and carried out on various Iranian military targets. However, there was no immediate response from Iran.

Iran has launched missiles and drones toward Israel and U.S. military sites in the Middle East as the conflict escalates.

Israeli air-defense systems intercepted many of the incoming missiles, but explosions and fires were reported in some areas.

The attacks are part of Iran’s retaliation after joint U.S.–Israeli strikes on Iranian military and government targets

The United States and Israel began coordinated attacks on February 28, 2026, targeting Iranian missile bases, military facilities, and infrastructure.

The campaign aims to weaken Iran’s missile and nuclear programs.

Major cities such as Tehran, Isfahan, and Qom were reportedly hit in the early phase of the strikes.

Iran has targeted U.S. bases and allies in the Gulf region, including Kuwait, Qatar, and Bahrain.

Drone debris from the conflict injured civilians in Abu Dhabi, showing the war’s regional impact.

Missiles and drones have also been launched across the Gulf, raising fears of a wider regional war

US-Israeli preparations for long-term war, could last until September

The US and Israeli military campaign against Iran is expected to last not just weeks, but months. The US Department of Defense, the Pentagon, has already begun preparing for a long-term war, according to US media outlet Politico.

According to the report, the US Central Command has requested from the Pentagon to deploy additional military intelligence officers to its headquarters in Tampa, Florida. These additional officers will assist in the ongoing military operation against Iran for at least 100 days, or potentially until next September.
According to analysts, the move indicates that Washington is preparing to wage war for a much longer period than initially stated.
Earlier, US President Trump said that the military operation against Iran could last four to five weeks. However, he warned that it could be longer depending on the situation.
The plan was months in the making. But the Pentagon’s rapid mobilization of additional personnel and resources suggests that the United States was not fully prepared for the consequences of the conflict.
A previous report said that some top Trump administration advisers wanted Israel to attack Iran first, before the United States would directly join the war. In the end, that is exactly what happened.
According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, more than a thousand people have been killed and hundreds injured in the Israeli-US attacks so far.
The organization said at least 165 children were among the dead. They died in a double attack on an elementary school, one of the deadliest incidents of the ongoing conflict.
On the other hand, the US Central Command said that six US service members were killed in an Iranian attack in Kuwait.
The conflict is now expected to become a major issue throughout President Trump’s term. The political divide within the United States is also growing, as many of Trump's supporters oppose another war in the Middle East.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has acknowledged that Israel's actions have drawn the United States into direct conflict.

"We knew Israel would attack. We also knew that it could result in an attack on US forces. So if we had not taken action in advance, our losses could have been much greater."

Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said that the operation against Iran was part of a long-standing plan.

"This operation is being carried out with the support of the United States. There is the cooperation of President Trump and the US military."

Netanyahu also claimed that "this alliance has given us the opportunity to achieve the goal that we have dreamed of for 40 years."

Pop star Britney Spears arrested in California

US pop star Britney Spears has found herself in legal trouble again. Police in California, USA, have arrested her, according to court sources.
He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol around 9:30 p.m. Pacific Time on Wednesday. He was released early Thursday morning but is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on May 4, according to court documents.

However, the court documents did not provide any specific details about the reason for her arrest.

A representative for Britney Spears told BBC News, "This is an unfortunate and inexcusable incident. Britney will take appropriate action and comply with the law."

He added that the singer's children will be with her and that her close relatives are making long-term plans for her overall well-being.

Britney Spears deleted her Instagram account on Thursday after news of her arrest broke.

Britney Spears, one of the most successful artists in pop music history, has hit singles like "Toxic," "Everytime," "Give Me More," "Womanizer" and "Baby One More Time."

In January 2024, she announced that she would never return to music. Her last work was a duet with Elton John in 2022.

However, in a post on social media earlier this year (which was later deleted), she indicated that she was interested in performing live concerts in the UK or Australia in the future, although she would not perform in the United States.

Britney was under legal guardianship for a long time in her personal life. She was under the conservatorship of her father, Jamie Spears, for 13 years until 2021. During that time, her personal life and financial affairs were under the control of her father.

Britney detailed that experience in her memoir, ‘The Woman in Me,’ published in 2023.

Meanwhile, in late 2025, her ex-husband Kevin Federline also published a memoir called ‘You Thought You Knew.’
